About Me

This is my place on the web. I won't tell you how to live your life, I'm not an expert in anything, and I can't pretend to be fascinatingly successful or sophisticated. But I do know how to live life simply, beautifully and happily. This is just a place to escape, to a beautiful city in Scotland, and enjoy it with me.

I live with my lovely partner who is originally from France, and his gorgeous son, and our sweet, gentle rescue dog Thumper. We spend most of our time at home in front of the fire in winter, in the garden in summer, as well as my parents farm when we can, and visiting relatives in the Loire in France. These are the places we are happiest.

I have lived in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for over 20 years now after living in Madrid and London and travelling around the world exploring. I'm now settled in this very special city and loving life. And I want to share a small part of that with you here.
